My Lord of the Rings(mainly focused on the hobbits)Page
Okay, this is a page for my biggest obession(err...sorry, did I say obsession? I mean devotion!), Lord of the Rings. And I'm not just a fan of the movie, but a fan of the books as well. So enjoy your time and don't have to much fun!

Pippin Took The character I love most in Lord of the Rings is Pippin Took, portrayed by Scottish actor Billy Boyd. He's sweet, naive and a little foolish, but for all his foolishness, you gotta love that adorable lil hobbit! And he has the best accent by far of all the hobbits!

Meriadoc Brandybuck Merry Brandybuck(played by Dom Monaghan)is my other favorite hobbit and Pippin's partner in crime. Pippin is rarely the instigator though, but follows cousin Merry's lead without question. Which wouldn't be hard to do, because Merry's cheeky and cheerful disposition make him very likeable and fun to be around.

Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee And now to Frodo Baggins(Elijah Wood)and Sam Gamgee(Sean Astin). Frodo is the reluctant Ring-Bearer, assigned to carry The One Ring, left to him by his uncle Bilbo Baggins, to Mount Doom to be destroyed. If he does not succeed, the the Dark Lord Sauron could regain the ring and destroy Middle Earth. He is accompanied by his loyal servant Sam Gamgee, who's faithfulness to his master turns him into quite the little hero. Frodo and Sam start out with a fellowship of nine people(the wizard Gandalf: the ranger Strider, also known as Aragorn; the elf Legolas; the dwarf Gimli; Merry and Pippin, Frodo's cousins; and the Human Boromir, from the City of Gondor). Frodo and Sam, however, are left alone to carry the ring to Mordor when Merry and Pippin are captured by Orcs, Boromir is killed, Gandalf is felled by a balrog in Moria, and Legolas, Gimli and Aragorn set out to save Merry and Pippin from torment and death.
